Most of the links posted below are just issues I have had an the fixes I have found for them. I normally will not fill out a bunch of information on what the issue was but if you click the link odds are you can work out what the error was. If you feel like wasting time your more then welcome to look at them all.
Note: This is not a normal post you would normally relate to tech support. Meaning please do not post on here if you need help make a new topic under computer support. This info was only posted so that others can open the links and see if they have the following issue. If they do it gives them a clear fix. Another reason I have done this is so I have the information for when I need it but dont have direct access to my computer.

Was forced to run a scan after IE wouldnt load select pages such as forums and byond.
Note: What ended up fixing IE before I was able to even do the sfc was a simple windows update.
Run cmd.exe in Administrator mode.

sfc /verifyonly = Used to verify any corrupted files only.
sfc /scannow = Used to verify and fix any corrupted file.

If you get the following message.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Open up notepad as an admin via rightclick and then nav to the following location.
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS
Once there change it to see all files and not just text files and open the CBS.log file once this is done search for the following key word "Cannot" and write down a list of files that are corrupted and from there u can search for repair options.
