... Well shit. I had the two separated the other week because the vet said she didn't want the chance of her getting pregnant (That's not the right terminology, birds don't get "pregnant", but that's how I'm going to say it anyway) because she's not in the best of health. (She's skinny :/ But we're going to try and feed her a whole bunch of good stuff and everything.) So tomorrow around noon I'm going to take her up to my aunts house with me and she's going to stay up there I guess until the babies are all ready and can be transported back to my house (Or they'll stay there until I get them sold. I don't know)
I don't plan on keeping them.
I plan on raising them though.
And just.. ugh! x_x I'm so worried about her now. I hope she doesn't lay a huge clutch. Two is fine for me! Especially for a tiel needing a little extra tlc.
So anyway. First egg was laid today. She'll continue laying them every two days until she has however many she's going to end up with. I hope she makes it through this alright. Might have to take the babies early or help feed them because she really isn't in the health state for it. That is, if they're fertile and healthy...
And they have to be Zen's. Which is surprising to me because I didn't think he even liked her >o> He tends to pick on other birds... At least he likes her, right? Ehehh.. heh...
At least I'm a good Mommy Muffin.

If they hatch, the first will start hatching around March 8-11 ... And within the next week we'll know how many she'll have.
And I doubt she'll have just one :/

You're a good mommy, you should be able to take care of them. It may be a bit of a chore, but you can do it.

I'm kind of worried that Nova is gonna lay an egg. o.O I'm sure she'll be fine Muffin, she's lucky to have a professional such as yourself taking care of her.  |
