R.I.P. FEB

I learned today that one of my friends was involved in a shooting. The convict is the ex-boyfriend of my friends mother. My friend, and the suspect are dead. My friends mother is in the hospital. I found out something was wrong when I saw a state patrol by the road, as I was running, I went up and asked what was going on. He said, "A homicide just happened a few hours ago." I didn't think anything of it.
About an hour later, I was all peppy and at school, when I found out the people involved in the shooting was none other than one of my best IRL friends, who now rests in peace. It's a hard day, and a bad start off to the year 2010. I don't know what to say now.

Man, I feel sorry for ya. Deaths take a big toll on me, even if I don't know the person. I hope you recover from your loss soon, and may they never be forgotten. *hugs*

I think she's going to really need support though if her kid was the one that was killed...

I'm going over with some flowers when she gets out of the hospital. Though if she wants to be let alone, I'll make sure to give her space.
