I've always shot guns before but my brother tricked me into shooting a shotgun.
A 12 gauge.
He didn't tell me it was a 12 gauge.

My reaction? D: "*focused* *BOOOM* OH SHI- *flail*"
Now my shoulder hurts from that sucker. e.e Got the shell to proove it, though. <3

We don't go to firing ranges, our backyard is large enough to fire them without hitting someone/thing.

I have an awesome uncle; I went over to his house for Thanksgiving, and I got to shoot a wide variety of guns, from a colt revolver to a 50. cal. I got to shoot a 16 guage double barrel, about 50 years old, suprisingly it still works. It was awesome, firing a gun for the first time ^^.
